Joseph Edgar, who leads The Duke’s Masterclass and is organizing this session, stressed that sexual relations at work have quickly become a big risk to companies.
He mentioned that sadly, many business leaders do not understand how serious this issue is until it’s too late and their organization might already be harmed beyond repair.
Edgar said that while some workplace relationships might seem harmless, the bad effects—if not managed well—can hurt the company in four main ways: legal problems, loss of good employees, bad reputation, and weak company structure. This can make a company fail to reach its goals.
This session is expected to draw CEOs, business owners, corporate leaders, brand and reputation experts, and HR professionals. The aim is to discuss all parts of this issue and come up with practical solutions that can be part of the company culture to stop this harmful trend.
The Duke’s Masterclass aims to empower corporate leaders through targeted events that make companies stronger and help them grow safely.
Previous speakers at The Duke’s Masterclass include famous people like General Ike Nwachukwu (retired), Emir Mohammed Sanusi II, Kola Adesina, and Chief Emeka Anyaoku, among others.
