The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Commissioner, Olatunji Disu, lost his son in a car accident that reportedly occurred on Monday.
Although the circumstances surrounding the young man's death remain unclear, family sources have called the loss heartbreaking.
Disu assumed office as the 32nd Commissioner of Police of the FCT Police Command in October.
He replaced AIG Benneth Igweh who was promoted to Deputy Inspector General of Police and posted to Zone 7 Headquarters.
CP Disu was on a condolence visit to CSP AA Sambo, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ushafa Division, whose son had recently passed away when he received the news of the death of his own son.
