The State Council of Nigeria of the Union of Journalists (NU) of Nigeria has congratulated with all the journalists around the world to commemorate International Women's Day today.
In a message to commemorate the day, the state president of the NUJ, Comrade Abu Nmodu said there is no better time to celebrate our journalists than now.
In view of this, Nmodu in a statement issued by the Council through the office of the Secretary of the Council, Comrade Usman Chiji “on behalf of all members of the Council, joins all women's women to honor and appreciate the strength, resistance and achievements of women around the world and the efforts of women's journalists in the state of Niger in the configuration of society for a better morning.
“From any perspective, women remain the ventilation in which social growth, developments and true progress solidify.
“Nuj celebrates International Women's Day 2025 and in the most significant way he sends warm messages to all women who deserve to know how special they are, for us and for humanity.”
