I’ve Penned Hit Tracks for Wizkid – Skales Reveals

Must Read

Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, who everyone knows as Skales, is a popular singer. He said he wrote many hit songs for his friend Wizkid when they were both with a music company called Empire Mates Entertainment, shortened as EME.

Skales shared this information during a talk show called ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask,’ which is hosted by a content creator named Bae U Barbie. Skales said he helped write some songs for Wizkid’s first album, ‘Super Star.’ One of the songs he mentioned was ‘Wiz Party,’ which is a bonus track on the album.

But it wasn’t just Skales helping Wizkid; Wizkid also wrote songs for Skales. For example, Wizkid wrote a hit song for Skales called ‘Mukulu.’

Skales said, “When we were at EME, we worked as a team and wrote songs for each other. I wrote songs for Wizkid, and he wrote songs for me.”

He added, “Wizkid wrote ‘Mukulu’ for me, and I wrote ‘Wiz Party’ for him. We were a team at EME, helping each other out.”

Wizkid and Skales were some of the first artists to join EME. They were signed by R&B singer and music boss Banky W in the early 2010s. The record label helped them become famous.

However, both artists left the label later because they had disagreements with Banky W.

In an older interview with another host named Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Banky W mentioned that Wizkid still owed EME three albums according to the contract he signed with the record label.
