IGP EGBETOKUN deploys 38 CPS to several commands, police formations

Police Inspector (PGI), Kayode Egbetokun, ordered Friday the immediate publication of 38 police commissioners to several state commands and formations.

This was contained in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja by the Public Relations officer FPRO Commissioner Police Assistant ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

According to the Statement, “The Commissionrs of Police Deployed to State Commands Include CP Ibrahim Balabe Maikaba To Zamfara State, CP Bretet Emmanuel Simon to Taraba State, CP Christopher Ado Emmanuel To Yobe State State, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman to Niger State, CP Sani Omolori Aliyu to the state of Bauchi, CP Bello Shehu to the state of Katsina, CP Saka Adewale Aja as a police commissioner, territory of the Federal Capital (FCT) and CP Eye Adekimi to the state of Kwara.

He added that the deployment also includes the publication of 29 CPS to several police formations as part of a broader effort to address the growing security challenges and guarantee effective surveillance that responds to the needs of the community.

According to this, “each CP will have the task of implementing personalized strategies that reflect the unique requirements of their respective formations, ensuring that surveillance is proactive and effective.”

In addition, he added that the IGP charged the recently deployed CPS to prioritize their responsibilities by curbing insecurity and misconduct, reinforcing the commitment of Nigeria's police force to defend the law and order through a solid intelligence surveillance.

According to this, the deployment reflected the dedication of the new police leadership to ensure that Nigeria's police force is well equipped to address the challenges of maintaining peace and security in the country.
