Controversial social media personality, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has promised to give away one million naira every month until December to people willing to learn a trade.
He made the announcement in a video shared on his Instagram page on Friday, stating that the initiative would begin at the end of January and run until the end of the year.
According to VeryDarkMan, the offer is open not only to his online followers but also to anyone who can access it in person.
He stressed that the funds for the program would come from his personal profits, not from his NGO.

VeryDarkMan said: “From the end of this month until the end of the year, I will donate 1 million naira every month.
“This money will be shared by five people each month. It is for those who want to learn a trade. “It’s my money, not NGO money – my hard-earned money.”
He also stated that the motivation behind this is to help people who need an opportunity and are currently doing menial jobs.
VeryDarkMan urged interested people to inquire about the training programs and gather the necessary details as it would pay the institutions directly.
“If I want to pay, I won't give you the money; “I will pay for the place where you will learn,” he said.
