Kogi State Governor Ahmed Ododo has assured the people of the state that his administration will continue to serve the people of the state by providing them with adequate infrastructure.
The governor stated this on Tuesday while interacting with market women at Zango-Daji Market in Adavi Local Government Area of the state.
He also assured the Zango-Daji community that his administration would build a hospital in the city.
“I decided to stop here to see how you're doing as your servant and I'm glad you're enjoying the road and the streetlights. I heard someone talk about having a good hospital here.
“You know that I am your servant and you have chosen me to serve you. Let me assure you that I will give you a good hospital very soon. Health is wealth and that is why we are investing heavily in health care so that our people enjoy good health,” said the Governor.
The excited people of Zango Daji were elated upon hearing the good news and many called the Governor “Mr Talk and Do”.
Governor Ododo has been inspecting his numerous projects across the state, ahead of his first anniversary as State Head of Service.
Residents of Zango Daji, Shettima and Barracks came out en masse to thank the Governor for the completion of the Zone 8 – Barracks – Shettima – Zango Daji crossing to the GYB crossing as well as the Zone 8 – Confluence Stadium – Crusher Road crossing.
The Governor also inspected the newly rebuilt Local Government Services Commission House, among several other projects across the state.
