Idris Okuneye, who is also known as Bobrisky, likes dressing in women’s clothes. He said he wants to go back to jail. Bobrisky called his time in jail a “vacation.”
DAILY POST shared that Bobrisky left the Kirikiri Correctional Centre on Monday, August 5, 2024. He was there for six months because he threw money at parties, which was seen as bad. This happened after a judge in Lagos said he should go to jail on April 12, 2024.
Bobrisky was on a show called ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask.’ The show host, Bae U Barbie, talked to him. Bobrisky said he would like to go to jail again.
“I think of my time in jail like a holiday. When you are on holiday, you relax. I work very hard, so I think the judge’s decision was okay for me,” Bobrisky explained.
“They thought going to jail would make me sad, but it did not. I am still happy. I will always be happy,” he added.
The show host, Bae U, said, “Jail looks good on you! Want to go again?”
Bobrisky replied, “Yes, maybe just for a short time. Not too long. The reason is that people want to break my spirit. But spraying my own money should not send me to jail. I didn’t steal, harm, or take anyone’s money. It was my money, and I spent it how I wanted.”
He explained that everything felt like a movie to him. “Can you imagine being jailed for enjoying your own money? I did not hurt anyone. I did not break any big laws. But, if I decided to be who I am, I must be strong, even if I go to jail. The worst that happened to me is going to jail, even though I didn’t do anything serious,” he said.
Bobrisky also insisted that he is not an ex-convict. “I don’t think I am an ex-convict because spraying money is not a crime. So, I don’t accept that label,” he said.
