In a sad event, bad people hurt a man and took away his daughter and two other young people in Agatu, a place in Benue State.
People said the bad guys attacked the man named John Ajaka when he was working on his farm. They took his daughter, Owakoyi John, and two other young people away.
John Ajaka lived in a small village called Ogwule Ankpa. It is so sad that these bad guys hurt him when he was busy working.
James Melvin Ejeh, the big boss of Agatu, said this happened on a Tuesday. He thinks what the bad guys did was super bad and mean. He promised that the people who did this will be caught by the police and made to pay for what they did.
Ejeh wants everyone in Ogwule and all of Agatu to know they will be safe. He said the police are looking everywhere for the bad guys and will find them soon. He also promised that the young people who were taken will come home soon.
Ejeh asked everyone to be calm and to not fight back, even though they feel hurt and angry. He said they should not break any rules but trust the police to find the bad guys.
He said the government is working hard to make sure everyone stays safe from things like this in the future.
