Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has expressed his warmest congratulations to Ndi Anambra and Nigerians at large on the occasion of the happy celebration of Christmas 2024.
The message was contained in a statement signed and made available to journalists in Awka on Wednesday by his press secretary, Christian Aburime.
In his festive goodwill message, Governor Soludo stated that this special season reminds us of God's boundless love and the enduring spirit of hope that the birth of Jesus Christ brings to humanity. In fact, sharing love and embracing hope are the redeeming essence of Christmas.
The Governor, therefore, urged Ndi Anambra and all Nigerians to show selfless love to one another and also keep hope alive in the face of the challenges of this season.

At the same time, he also wished the various families who lost their loved ones in the recent sad Okija stampede the strength to bear the loss.
Furthermore, the Governor assured Ndi Anambra that he will return home this season with adequate security as the administration has implemented comprehensive security measures to ensure that they celebrate peacefully with their loved ones.
Road networks across the state and good traffic control have also been significantly improved to facilitate smooth movements and travel during this festive period and beyond.
Therefore, Governor Soludo wishes everyone a Merry Christmas full of joy, peace and prosperity.
