The national president of the Congress of all progressives, Abdullahi Ganduje, said the ruling party has a plan on the excursion to expel the main opposition party, the Democratic Party of the peoples of their government of the states of Oyo and Osun.
Ganduje made the statement on Wednesday when he formally received at the party, Dr. (Colonel) Gbanga Adegbola (RTD).
Both Oyo and Osun are in the Geopolitical Zone of the Southwest, the region of President Bola Tinubu.
Ganduje said that taking the two PDP states would create what he called political homogeneity for the APC in the area.
He said: “Our plan for the geopolitical zone of the southwest by 2027 is labeled as” political homogeneity. ”
“In other words, the agreement from southwest to our plan, we will work hard and with the help of Allah (SWT) and the people of the State, Oyo, will also be an APC state in 2027. Another state in the area that is outside the hook: the OSun state, in Sha Allahu, will also be an APC state. That is what we want to say with political homogeneity.”
He assured Adegbola that his leadership would give him a sense of belonging for him all privileges.
“We thank you for coming to APC and we assure you that you are now a member of our group.
“According to this statement, it has the privilege, opportunities and the opportunity to compete for any position at the party. If you decide to dispute the elections, a qualifying environment is guaranteed. You are free to compete for any office you want. “
While they were heading to journalists after their meeting with Ganduje and other members of the National Labor Committee of the party, Adegbola, who claimed to have more than 10,000 followers, said he would work with other stakeholders in the state of Oyo to ensure victory for the party in the next general elections, particularly in the governor's career.
