On Sunday, the main leader of Nigeria’s All Progressives Congress, known as APC, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, promised to help the party win in Ondo, Oyo, and Osun states.
Ganduje said APC aims to win across the entire Southwest area, beginning with the Ondo governor’s election on November 16.
He shared these thoughts during a meeting with important people in Akure, which is the main city of Ondo State.
He mentioned, “In this part of the country, we need to make sure APC wins everywhere. Ondo State, you are leading the way. After you, we will win over Oyo and Osun. But I won’t tell how we’re going to do it. We have a plan. Everything must support President Bola Tinubu completely.”
“In the upcoming election, we are standing firmly with Governor Aiyedatiwa. We have set things up at the national level to have a good election. I also say that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will lead the National Campaign Council.”
“Winning this election is very important. Seeing so many of you here brings hope. It shows that the party is together, strong, and ready to work.”
“We want 90 out of every 100 people to vote in the next governor’s election. You need to talk to everyone you can, in every home and neighborhood, to make sure they come out to vote.”
