Four Killed by High Voltage Incident in Kaduna Community

Must Read

Early on Saturday morning in a village called Kwarau in Kaduna State, Nigeria, four people sadly passed away due to an electrical shock caused by high voltage.

This happened around 6:40 am. Nobody knew right away why it happened, but people in the village said it was because a cable from the high-power lines fell on their transformer. This made the electricity in their homes very strong and dangerous.

Mohammed Rabi’u Kwarau, who helps take care of the village as a councillor, said that the deaths were very sad and asked the people in charge of electricity to fix the problems in the village. He said that this is not the first time they have had such problems.

“We are very sad because four of our people died—three men and a teenage girl. The strong electricity in the houses caused their deaths,” he said.

Umar Rufai, the head of the village, also said the incident was very sad and asked the electricity company to help the families who lost loved ones.

“The families need help because it wasn’t their fault. This happened while people were at home, causing deaths and hurting some animals too,” he said.
