The Oluseun Adeboyejo Foundation has empowered no less than 800 residents of Emure Ekiti, with the aim of supporting the initiatives of the Governor of the State of Ekiti, Biodun Oyebanji.
The empowerment event, which took place on Friday, was not the first of its kind, since it focused on helping several groups within the community, including young people, students, market women, artisans, Okada riders and farmers.
The beneficiaries received cash gifts, scholarships, motorcycle helmets, reflective jackets, curtains, ships of ships, agricultural equipment and other tools for ships.
In his speech, the Minister of Youth, Ayodele Olawande, urged the beneficiaries to use empowerment resources to promote self -sufficiency.
Represented by the Youth Development Commissioner in the State of Ekiti, Hon. Gold Adesola Adedayo, the minister praised the base for his support for the state government.

Olawande also pointed out Governor Oyebanji's commitment to reduce unemployment, while requested more support from the governor.
The minister also asked the well -intentioned Nigerians to emulate the philanthropic efforts of the Foundation.
During the distribution of articles, the Foundation coordinator, Oluseun Adeboyejo, emphasized that the initiative was intended to relieve difficulties and support the governance of Governor Oyebanji.
He pointed out that while the government is doing the best it can, Adeboyejo emphasized that they could not meet all the needs of people, which makes it crucial for citizens to support the administration.
“The administration of Governor Oyebanji has had a good performance for people, but it is important that we also support the government because it cannot do everything. Empower farmers, women in the market and young people in tertiary institutions will greatly contribute to help society and relieve difficulties,” said Adeboyejo.
Mrs. Evelyn Adeboyejo, supporting her husband's statement, added that the empowerment initiative would help reduce unemployment and combat crimes and criminal activities often linked to unemployment.
The event was attended by several notable figures, including the representative of the Congress of all progressives (APC) in the state of Ekiti, Hon. According to Dipe; the APC public relations officer; all leaders of the APC room in the community; Bosses; market leaders; youths; and student leaders.
