FMC Abuja Launches Kidney Transplant Committee

Must Read

The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Abuja is working hard to help people with kidney problems. They have started a new team of top doctors to do kidney transplants. This team is led by a very experienced kidney doctor, Dr. Ernest Aniede.

Mr. Obadiah N.K Gana, the spokesperson for FMC, shared this news. He said that forming this team will help reduce the number of deaths due to kidney issues in Abuja and the rest of the country.

Kidney transplants and treatments cost a lot of money. So, FMC is trying to find better ways to help people who don’t have enough money or access to good kidney doctors.

Professor Saad Ahmed, who is the Medical Director at FMC, officially started this new team. He wants them to be fully prepared to start doing kidney transplants in Abuja soon.

Professor Ahmed has asked Dr. Aniede and the other team members to work together with all their heart. He gave them the task of making sure the kidney transplant program becomes a success. He also handed them their official letters, asking them to take their work very seriously.
