Heavy rain caused flooding and covered over 250 homes in Natsinta, a community in Jibia, Katsina State.
DAILY POST found out that, while no one died, many people got hurt. Right now, some of them are in the hospital getting better.
More than 1,000 people, including women and children, were affected by this flooding.
Hon. Mustafa Yusuf, the local leader in the State House of Assembly, said the damage was very serious.
The state leader promised the people affected that the State House of Assembly would talk about the problem so the government can help them.
He also asked for help from others like non-profit groups, politicians, and business people to support those who lost their homes.
