During a chat with someone named Ebro, Fireboy mentioned that their teamwork on the song is strong because they’ve known each other for a long time. They both studied at the same school, Obafemi Awolowo University in Ife.

Fireboy explained, “Our manager, who is Olamide, said I should make the song ‘Bandana’ with Asake. So, we sent him the song. Asake recorded his part really fast while on the road. His energy was out of this world!”
