A devastating fire outbreak has destroyed more than 45 houses, 35 silos and cattle in the Batakashi village, the Garki local government area of the Jigawa state.
An eyewitness, Malam Musa told Daily Post that the incident occurred on Friday night, leaving three people injured and causing extensions to properties and animals.
He explained that some of the destroyed properties include cattle, silos, clothing and other valuable items.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
The president of the Garki local government area, Adamu Hudu Kore, has visited the affected community to sympathize with the victims and evaluate the level of damage.
Spokesperson for the Sp. Lawan Shiisu Adam said the command has not yet received the report and promised to give details as soon as the report received.
