The Federal Government has opened a new learning center called the Export Skills Acquisition Centre (ESAC) in Apapa, Lagos. This center is here to help Nigeria’s fashion online market grow and could reach $422.8 million by 2024.
The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has started this center to make Nigeria’s products popular around the world, not just oil.
Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite, who is the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, shared the news about the center on her social media account. She also talked about how big the fashion business could get.
She said the new center will help Nigeria take advantage of Africa’s big $31 billion fashion market.
