Once upon a time in a place called Ilorin, in Kwara State, there was a young student named Mojisola Awesu. She went to the Kwara State College of Health Technology. Sadly, one day, Mojisola was found dead in a trash dump in the Aleniboro area of the city.
Before this happened, a friend had asked Mojisola to pretend to be a girlfriend for another student at a party. She was promised 15,000 Naira for this. The friend who asked her was named Miss Timileyin.
The police learned about this sad news when someone living in the area told them that a dead body was found in the trash. This happened on August 12. When the police arrived, they found out it was Mojisola.
The next day, on August 13, Mojisola’s roommate, Miss Blessing, reported that Mojisola was missing. She told the police about a phone call on August 9. Miss Timileyin had called Mojisola about a party organized by students from Summit University and Al-Hikmah University.
Miss Timileyin introduced Mojisola to a student named Mr. Adebayo Happiness from Summit University. Mr. Happiness asked Mojisola to come to the party and pretend to be his girlfriend. He said he would pay her 15,000 Naira.
Mojisola traveled to Ilorin for the party. When she got there, she called her roommate, Miss Blessing, and said she felt scared and uncomfortable at the hotel where Mr. Happiness had taken her. She also said there was no party at all. After this call, Mojisola’s phone was turned off, and Miss Blessing couldn’t reach her again.
The police spokesperson, DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, said they have arrested some suspects who might know what happened. These suspects are being questioned by the police.
