Nigerian singer and activist, Folarin Falana, who is also called Falz, has sent a warning to a social media critic named VeryDarkMan. Falz told him he will get into trouble if he continues his actions.
This was the first time Falz talked about the legal issues between him and VeryDarkMan.
This all started because of a secret audio recording of Bobrisky, a popular crossdresser. In the recording, Bobrisky talked about Falz and his dad, Femi Falana. He said they tried to contact him for help to get a N10 million presidential pardon while he was jailed for six months for naira abuse. VeryDarkMan shared this audio on social media, and it made many people talk about it online.
Falz responded to the criticisms by explaining in a lawsuit that it was actually Bobrisky who asked him for money.
Falz was interviewed on the Afro Beats podcast on Wednesday, where he talked about VeryDarkMan not having any proof for his claims.
Falz was not happy that VeryDarkMan did not apologize publicly. He warned him that he might soon face the trouble he is looking for.
Falz explained, “When I tried talking to him about the audio, he was defensive from the start. I said, ‘Bro, just listen. Why are you ready to fight immediately?’ He told me, ‘Since you are a lawyer, you can go to court.’
“I know that lying about someone can be a crime, but I decided not to go that way. He could have been arrested because what he posted was not true. I asked him to take it down and apologize in a certain time, but he did nothing.
“I don’t know if he thinks he is some kind of hero. He didn’t apologize, people are portraying me as a bad guy. If it’s trouble you seek, that’s my specialty. If you insist on looking for it, then let’s go.”
