Manchester United’s coach, Erik ten Hag, said his team wasn’t able to take charge of the match when they played a 1-1 draw against Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday.
The Red Devils, which is what fans call Manchester United, got ahead with a goal by Christian Eriksen during the first half. Later, the Turkish team, Fenerbahce, scored a goal thanks to Youssef En Neysri after the break.
No more goals were scored, so each team went home with one point.
Right now, Manchester United has not won any games in this competition. They have tied with Twente, FC Porto, and now Fenerbahce.
Coach Ten Hag talked to reporters and said, “We need to keep the ball better in the first half.”
He added, “We should have scored more goals, but to be fair, they had good chances too. Fenerbahce is a strong team with a good coach.”
He concluded, “It’s not a bad result, but we want to win. Winning is our goal for every game.”
