Piers Morgan, who talks on TV in Britain, is very happy with Bukayo Saka, an England soccer player. This was after England won against Switzerland in a Euro 2024 game on Saturday.
Morgan called Saka, who plays for Arsenal, ‘England’s hero’ because Saka played very well for the team coached by Gareth Southgate.
Let’s remember that Saka scored a goal that tied the game, making it 1-1, which pushed the game into extra time and then into a penalty shootout.
Saka’s goal wiped out Breel Embolo’s goal for Switzerland in the second half. After playing for 120 minutes, the game stayed at 1-1.
In the end, England won 5-3 in the penalty shootout.
After the game, Morgan tweeted on a platform called X:
“England’s hero… @BukayoSaka87. BOOOOOOM! Never in doubt… what a great set of penalties. Well done England.”
