Once upon a time, there was a young soccer player named Samu Omorodion. He played really well and made lots of goals as a striker for a team called FC Porto.
Now, there was another team named Chelsea in a place called the Premier League. They wanted to have Samu on their team. They even agreed to pay a lot of money, £34 million, to get him from a team called Atletico Madrid!
But something stopped the plan. Samu had an ankle that wasn’t feeling good, and that made everyone worry. So, the deal didn’t happen in the end.
Guess what happened next? Samu joined FC Porto instead. He worked really hard and scored 7 goals in just a few games. Wow! He even helped in a match that ended 3-3 against Manchester United in the Europa League. That’s a big deal!
Samu talked about this adventure with a Spanish TV channel named RTVE. He said, “This summer was really tough for me. It got pretty hard because people thought I would go to Chelsea, but things didn’t work out.”
