Fenerbahce’s coach, Jose Mourinho, talked about how Manchester United ended Sir Alex Ferguson’s special job with the team.
Mourinho said that Sir Alex Ferguson is loved by Manchester United fans more than anything else. This love is more important than any job title he had with the club.
Sir Alex was given the special job after he stopped being a manager back in 2013.
Now, a new boss named Sir Jim Ratcliffe has decided to end this job that was paying around £2 million each year.
Mourinho mentioned, “I had a super great friendship with Alex. You’ll hear more about our friendship in my Netflix show.”
He also said, “I don’t know all the reasons behind ending Alex’s special job. But that’s not the main thing. The main thing is Alex has something better: the love and respect from all Manchester United fans everywhere.”
“This love and respect are more important than any special job or money. That is what truly matters.”
