Sir Jim Ratcliffe, one of the people who owns Manchester United, said he won’t decide if the team’s coach, Erik ten Hag, will stay or go.
Right now, Erik ten Hag is having a hard time because Manchester United hasn’t won their last four games. Winning is important, and the team needs to do better.
This Sunday, Manchester United will play an important game against Aston Villa. Everyone is watching closely, especially Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who will be at the game too. But he says he isn’t the one who decides about Erik’s future with the team.
When talking to the BBC, they asked Sir Jim if he still thinks Erik is doing a good job. Sir Jim replied, “I don’t want to say too much about that. I like Erik, and I believe he’s a great coach. But really, it’s not up to me. The people in charge of the team, who manage Manchester United every day, will decide the best way to take care of the team in many ways.”
