Liverpool’s coach, Arne Slot, said his team’s choices and play weren’t good enough after they lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest.
Before this game, Liverpool had won their first three matches under Slot and hoped to keep winning at home.
But Callum Hudson-Odoi scored in the second half, surprising everyone at Anfield.
After the game, Slot said: “The game kept stopping and starting, and we barely made any chances to score.
“We need to look at how we played and improve.
“Too many times, we lost the ball near the goal. That wasn’t good. We need to handle the ball better.
“Our choices and actions on the field weren’t good. We defended well most of the time, but the other team’s two fast players made it tough. We took a lot of risks, and in the end, it was a great goal by them.”
