Must Read

The Enugu State Police did something brave on Thursday. They found a secret spot where bad people were keeping someone against their will.

These police officers saved the person during their mission. Unfortunately, two of the bad people lost their lives when the police and kidnappers exchanged gunfire.

Mr. Daniel Ndukwe, who talks to the public for the Enugu State Police, talked about what happened and shared this news on Friday with the DAILY POST.

He said, “On October 17, 2024, at night time, a special team from the Enugu State Police went to a secret place in Nokpa-Nike, Enugu East, where the bad guys were hiding. They found this place by using smart detective work.”

When the police got there, the bad guys started shooting, and the police had to shoot back.

During this, two of the bad guys couldn’t escape, but some ran away, hurt. Now, the police are trying to catch those who got away and anyone else involved with the bad people.

The person they saved was a man who helps an important person. These bad people took him on September 27, 2024, in a place called Trans-Ekulu, Enugu, but he came out safe.

After saving the man, the police found some weapons like three big guns and lots of bullets that the bad guys were using.

Mr. Ndukwe also shared that the criminal group wanted a huge amount of money, forty million Naira, before they would let the man go.

This group has kidnapped other people in and around Enugu before. The police have caught some of them before, and they had guns and bullets then too.

Also, the buildings these criminals used for their bad work have been knocked down by the Enugu State Government to stop such bad things from happening.

The head of the police, Mr. Kanayo Uzuegbu, praised the brave police officers and promised that they will keep working hard to stop crimes in the state.
