Eight young kids from Kingdom Heritage Nursery and Primary School in Lokoja, Kogi State, are safe after a bad accident.
According to people who saw what happened, the kids were coming back from school when the accident took place at Lokongoma market.
What happened was a big truck carrying a container fell on two small cars, trapping the kids inside.
The Nigeria Police, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and other helpers worked together to save the children.
The Kogi State Security Adviser, Commodore Jerry Omodara (Rtd.), was there to help and told our reporter that the children are okay.
As of 5:17 PM, they are still trying to move the truck to clear the road for traffic to move smoothly.
