EFCC Apprehends 33 Fraud Suspects and Seizes Counterfeit Dollars

In the city of Port Harcourt, police who work for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) caught 33 people who were doing bad things on the internet. This happened on a Tuesday in Rivers State.

The EFCC said in an announcement that they found these people hiding in areas called Iwofe and Ogboro, both in Port Harcourt.

The police learned about this after getting good information that these people might be doing bad things using computers and the internet.

When the police caught them, they took away many things. They found mobile phones, laptops, boxes with fake money that looked like United States dollars, and fake stamps that looked like they came from the FBI. They also found things that looked like they belonged to Customs, airports, DHL, FedEx, and they found two cars.

The EFCC also said that after they finish checking everything, they will take these people to court to decide what happens next.
