In Sokoto State, the EFCC, which fights financial crimes, caught 13 people who might be doing bad things online.

Dele Oyewale, the EFCC’s spokesperson, shared this news from Abuja on Saturday.

Dele said they caught these 13 people in the Gidan Yaro and Dandima areas of Sokoto because they found strong clues about their bad online activities.

“All these 13 people say they are students from Usmanu Danfodio University in Sokoto. After we check everything, they will go to court,” Dele explained.

Dele also said, “We are always working hard to stop internet fraud all over Nigeria. This is just another step in our efforts.”
