Edo Governorship Election: ‘All Power Belongs to God’ – Philip Shaibu Celebrates as Results Come In

Philip Shaibu, who is the Deputy Governor of Edo State, was seen celebrating in a popular video. He was happy about the results from the ongoing governor election in Edo State.

DAILY POST reported that officials in charge of the election, called electoral officials, began to upload the results from different voting places in the state at around 3 pm.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, also known as INEC, said that 90.33 percent of the results have been successfully put on their Result Viewing Portal.

Most of the voting places announced that Monday Okpebholo, the candidate from the All Progressives Congress, or APC, was the winner.

This made people, especially those from the ruling party, very happy and they started celebrating.

In a popular video posted on X, Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu was seen making fun of the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, and saying, “Na God get power,” which means “God has the power.”
