Edo Governor: Ganduje Expresses Confidence in APC’s Victory

Must Read

The leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, is very sure that his party will win the upcoming Edo governorship election on September 21.

On Thursday, Ganduje spoke in Kano when he met with the leaders of the State Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), led by Aminu Garko.

He said they have a strong plan to ensure the victory of their candidate in the election.

Ganduje mentioned that their team is excited and ready for the election to make sure they win back the state.

He believes that Edo is naturally an APC state and that they lost it to the PDP due to some internal problems, but now they aim to take it back.

About Ondo State, he said it is already controlled by the APC. Even though there are some issues left behind by the former governor, they are working on solving them.

The APC leader also stated that they are preparing for the November election in Ondo as well.

He said, “If we win Edo, we will add another state to our party. That will make it 21 states out of 36.

“Next year, we will focus on Anambra, which has been ruled by APGA for many years. We have a new plan for that.

“People from both the North and South-East say they feel neglected.

“The South-East also feels the same way. But we are telling them that they have created this feeling themselves,” he explained.
