Easter: NSCDC Deploy 3,500 personnel in FCT

The commander, the Nigeria Security and Defense Corps Command (NSCDC), the Federal Capital Territory Command (FCT), Olusola Odumosu, has ordered the deployment of 3,500 people throughout the FCT to guarantee the law and order ahead of Easter celebrations.

Odumosu gave the order while heading to officers and men in the command before Easter operations, a statement from the command officer of the command, Monica Ojobi said Wednesday.

The commander said that the deployment was in an attempt to provide adequate security for national assets and infrastructure in the FCT, as well as protect lives and properties of all residents and visitors before, during and after the celebration of Easter.
