A renowned academic of the University of Abuja, Professor Maxwell Nwachukwu Opara, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for establishing the South East Development Commission (SEDC) and appointing members of its board of directors.
He said the move is an important step towards promoting national unity, equity and regional development in Nigeria.
In his letter of thanks to President Tinubu, Opara specifically commended the appointment of Dr. Clifford Ogbede as the Executive Director of Agriculture, Rural Development and Natural Resources.
