A Nigerian music star named Florence Otedola, who most people know as DJ Cuppy, shared some sad news. Her grandmother on her mom’s side has passed away.
DJ Cuppy said she feels better knowing her grandma is now in heaven. She believes her grandma is watching over her with love.
She is thankful for how her grandma raised her mom. Because of that, her mom could raise her well too.
On social media, DJ Cuppy wrote, “My mommy’s mother has passed away. It comforts me knowing she’s in heaven, looking down on us with love. She lived a wonderful life!
“I’m very thankful for how she guided my mom, who then guided me. I am praying for my family during this sudden change, but we believe God is good all the time.
“Grandma Kaduna, your spirit is still with us, guiding and comforting us. Rest in peace.”
