But during an Instagram Live video, Destiny talked about these rumors. She said they are lies and meant to damage her reputation.
She said, “If you try to take away God’s blessings from someone else, you can’t grow yourself. People have always spoken badly about me. Do men give money? Even if they do, I don’t know.”
Destiny explained that she works hard for almost everything she has. She added, “I don’t know why some people are so bitter. Maybe they are afraid. I buy a car almost every birthday because I like changing my car each year.”
She further clarified that some people took an old picture of her with Omotola’s husband and twisted the story. “We took that picture over four years ago when I was on a flight, and he was the pilot. People on the flight were taking pictures with me. He asked what was happening, and they told him I was an actress. I greeted him with respect because he’s my senior colleague’s husband. I asked if we could take a selfie out of respect, and we did. That was all.”
