APC Leaders Ask for Peace and Patience in the Southwest

The leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Southwest are asking Nigerians to keep the peace and not make the region a place of fighting.

They said that the tough times everyone is facing will soon get better and life will improve for all.

These APC leaders made their request at a special meeting in Akure, a city in Ondo State.

They asked everyone to be careful and patient with the current government.

In a statement from Isaac Kekemeke, the APC’s Vice Chairman, and Vincent Bewaji, the zonal secretary, the party asked people living in the Southwest and even those living abroad to not let the region become a place of violence or crime through protests.

They asked Nigerians to bear the current difficulties with patience, assuring that soon things will get better for everyone.

The statement said that everyone has the right to protest peacefully and speak out about the government’s programs.

It also noted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government is taking big steps to improve the economy and make sure that all Nigerians can live well and prosper.
