Delta Police Detain Trio of Alleged Armed Robbers and Kidnappers

Police officers in Delta State caught three people who were involved in robbery and kidnapping.

The people caught are Tega Dierunaba, who is 44 years old, Chibuike Anuforo Cosmas, who is 42 years old, and Sunday Moses Pam, who is 36 years old. Sunday is also suspected of selling guns.

The police found these people in different places on July 16, 2024, between 1 PM and 7:35 PM, according to a report from DAILY POST.

The police spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, shared the news in a statement on Wednesday.

He explained that Sunday Moses Pam is from Vom community in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State. Currently, he lives on Oka Closed Street in Enerhen, which is in the Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State. Sunday is suspected of hiding and transporting guns from Plateau State to Delta State.

The spokesperson also mentioned that all three suspects admitted to their crimes. They were initially exposed by another person named Goodluck Sakutu from the Ekpan community in Uvwie, Delta State. Goodluck was previously caught with a fake AK-47 gun.

Now, the suspects are in jail, and the police are still investigating the case.
