The Delta State Police Command Rapid Response Team was on duty along Kwale Road when they caught four men who are thought to be armed robbers.
The men are Savage Roland, who is 26 years old, Clever Imonukore, who is 29 years old, Isaac Umukoro, who is 49 years old, and Louis Opone, who is 40 years old.
They were caught on July 25, 2024, at around 6:30 PM, as reported by the DAILY POST.
The police also found two new pump action guns with the men.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed this news in a statement sent to our reporter in Warri.
SP Edafe said, “On July 25, 2024, at around 6:30 PM, our Rapid Response Squad was stopping cars on Kwale Road. They stopped a Lexus 350 SUV and searched it. During the search, they found two new pump action guns.”
He continued, “Four suspects – Savage Roland from Afisere, Ughelli North LGA, Delta State, who is 26 years old, Clever Imonukore, who is 29 years old, Isaac Umukoro, who is 49 years old, and Louis Opone, who is 40 years old – were arrested.”
SP Edafe also mentioned that the investigation is still ongoing.
