Daddy Freeze on N5 Million Court Fine

Well-known media personality Daddy Freeze has shared his thoughts on the N5 million fine imposed on him for supposedly being with another man’s wife.

Just to recap, back on February 18, 2021, a court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, told Daddy Freeze to pay N5 million. The court said he had committed adultery with a woman named Benedicta Elechi.

The court said the money should go to Paul Odekina, who was married to Benedicta Elechi when it happened.

Daddy Freeze did not agree with the court’s decision, so he took the case to the Appeal Court for a second look.

Speaking about the accusation on his Instagram live show, Daddy Freeze firmly denied cheating with a married woman.

He said, “I will pay the adultery fine; my wristwatch alone costs over N100 million, but I am innocent.

This incident is very old. It happened when the lady and I were both in tough situations. We met many years later in church; this was over 12 years ago,” he explained.
