Famous reggaeton singer, El Taiger, has passed away.
He was 37 years old when he died on Thursday, October 10, 2024, one week after being shot in the head.
His family shared the sad news in an official announcement on his Instagram stories.
“On October 3, a little after 7 in the morning, police found El Taiger inside a black Mercedes SUV at NW 17th St. 10 Ave. He had been shot in the head and was quickly taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.
“Doctors performed surgery and put him on life support, but despite their hard work, he couldn’t recover. From the time he arrived, the doctors and nurses at Jackson Memorial did everything they could to help him.
“Sadly, this afternoon, El Taiger was pronounced dead. We believe he is now with his dear mother in heaven. Although this news is shocking and deeply sad, we ask his fans to remember him by celebrating the happiness he gave to so many people.”
