A group of people took away a doctor named Dr. Abidemi Oyaromade.
These people came to Dr. Oyaromade’s house in Mareri, a place in Gusau, Zamfara State, very early on Monday morning. They took him away with them.
The group was carrying weapons and went to Dr. Oyaromade’s house at around 4 a.m., taking him somewhere nobody knows.
Dr. Oyaromade used to be in charge of medical services at a big hospital in Gusau between 2016 and 2017. He kept working there until 2023 when he started working at another hospital called Federal Medical Centre, also in Gusau.
A news station, AIT News, talked to a person who knows the family. This person didn’t want to say their name but said they called the doctor’s family. The family confirmed that Dr. Oyaromade had been taken away.
The report also mentioned that the head of doctors in the area, the Nigerian Medical Association, could not be spoken to because they were busy in a meeting, which might be about Dr. Oyaromade.
The police in Zamfara State have not yet said anything about this incident.
