Clash Between Herders and Farmers Reportedly Claims Five Lives in Adamawa

Must Read

In a small village called Kukta, in a place known as Waltadi in Adamawa State, Nigeria, something sad happened. Farmers and herders (people who take care of animals like cows) had a big fight.

This fight happened late on a Saturday, October 27, until early Sunday. Five people lost their lives. Many others got hurt. Houses were burned, and valuable things were ruined. The villagers never expected something like this to happen in their quiet community.

The police in Adamawa State heard about the problem. A police officer named SP Suleiman Nguroje said on Sunday that the police boss, called CP Morris Dankombo, sent police officers to help. The officers made things calm again.

SP Suleiman also said that the police are looking into why this fight happened. They want to know what caused the farmers and herders to fight. He didn’t say exactly how many people died, but people who saw the fight said five people had died.

The police are working hard to make sure everyone is safe and to stop fights like this from happening again. They are talking to both the farmers and the herders to understand their problems better.
