Charly Boy Urges Nigerians to Stay Positive Amidst Peter Obi and Kenneth Okonkwo Debate

Must Read

Famous entertainer Charly Boy, also known as Charles Oputa, has told Nigerians not to say bad things about Kenneth Okonkwo. Kenneth used to be in the Labour Party (LP) and had some things to say about Peter Obi, who was the party’s presidential candidate in 2023.

On Sunday, Kenneth Okonkwo, who talked for the Labour Party during their presidential campaign, said he was leaving the party and the “Obidient” movement. He shared a letter on social media saying that most of the problems in the party were because of how Peter Obi managed things.

Peter Obi replied and said that Kenneth Okonkwo was not a spy in the Labour Party, even though Kenneth had criticized him.

Charly Boy then shared his thoughts. He said just because Kenneth had a different opinion doesn’t mean he is an enemy.

Charly Boy posted on X (a social media platform) and said: “Peter Obi has a special way of making all the effort used to attack him seem like a waste of time and energy.

“It’s normal for people in any group or society to have different opinions, and it’s important to be respectful, even when we disagree.

“Just because someone thinks differently, doesn’t mean they are an enemy. We should talk and discuss our differences instead of attacking each other personally.

“In fact, for me, I don’t want to work with people who always agree with me because as a leader, it’s important to learn and listen. I want to hear other opinions, try to convince them of my views, or take their advice if it’s better.”
