Charly Boy, a well-known singer, shared his thoughts about Pastor Enoch Adeboye saying sorry about the tithe rules.
Let’s remember that Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who is in charge of the big church called the Redeemed Christian Church of God, said sorry for telling people that if they don’t pay a tithe, they won’t go to heaven.
Pastor Adeboye said, “I’m sorry for saying, ‘If you don’t pay tithe, you won’t go to heaven.’ That’s not right, and it’s not in the Bible. The Bible actually says, ‘Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see God.’”
When Charly Boy heard this, he said that Pastor Adeboye’s apology doesn’t mean much unless he gives back the money people gave for tithes.
Charly Boy said, “I think a lot of people who are not real are in churches. That’s just what I think. Your sorry means nothing unless you promise to give back the tithe money taken from people who thought they could buy their way to heaven.
“Stop telling your church members silly things. Sometimes, nice people have tattoos, and mean people go to church every Sunday. Since you told people not to watch TVs many years ago, I thought you weren’t being honest.
“There’s nothing worse than a pastor who points fingers and is not real, like a fake artist’s shiny jewelry. An apology? It doesn’t make sense if you know what you’re doing is wrong. Foolish actions!”
