West Bromwich Albion is really happy! They got their player, Semi Ajayi, back on the training field on Thursday. Semi had a tough trip with the Nigeria team recently.
He and his Nigeria teammates, along with their coaches, were stuck at an airport in Libya for over 12 hours. They didn’t have some things they really needed. Because of this, the team decided not to play their match for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
On Wednesday, Semi came home, and then on Thursday, he joined his friends on the team to practice again.
West Brom has a big game coming up! On Saturday around lunch, they will be playing against Oxford.
Before the game on Friday, the team will have one more practice session to get ready.
West Brom, also known as The Baggies, hasn’t won in their last two games in the Sky Bet Championship, so they are really hoping to do better this time!
