The leader of Club Brugge, Hans Vanaken, praised Raphael Onyedika for playing really well when their team beat Sturm Graz.
Club Brugge, champions of the Belgian Pro League, won 1-0 against Sturm Graz in the UEFA Champions League game on Wednesday night.
This was the first time Club Brugge won in the competition this season.
In the match, Onyedika helped Christof Tzolis score the goal that won them the game. It happened late in the match. “What a great goal! Onyedika did an amazing job putting the ball in place, and Tzolis finished it perfectly,” Vanaken said on the club’s official website.
“We controlled the ball for most of the game. Jutglà also had a good chance to score, but unfortunately, the ball didn’t go in. That could have made the game much easier for us,” he added.
Recently, Onyedika was given the award for Club Brugge’s Player of the Month for September.
