Champions League Recap: PSG and Dortmund Triumph, Inter Milan Hold Man City

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) needed a bit of good luck to win against Girona 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

PSG, the champions of France’s Ligue 1, worked very hard but couldn’t score for almost the whole game. The score stayed 0-0 for 88 minutes.

But then, something lucky happened. Nuno Mendes kicked the ball low across the field. The goalkeeper for Girona, Paulo Gazzaniga, made a mistake and the ball went into his own net. This mistake gave PSG the win.

In another game, Jamie Gittens from England helped Borussia Dortmund win big. Jamie scored two goals and sent his team to a 3-0 victory against Club Brugge. Serhou Guirassy made the third goal by scoring a penalty.

Manchester City and Inter Milan played a game but neither team scored any goals. The game ended in a 0-0 draw.

In Scotland, a team called Celtic played very well. They won their game 5-1 against Slovan Bratislava. This is the biggest win they have ever had in this competition.
