Building Collapse in Maryland, Lagos

Three people have sadly died after a building fell down at 13 Wilson Mba Street, Arowojobe Estate, in Maryland, Lagos State.

This bad thing happened early on Thursday.

People from the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, also called LASEMA, rushed to the place to help.

Femi Oke-Osanyitolu, who works for LASEMA, said that two people were found alive under the broken building parts.

“Three grown-up men died, two men were found alive, and one man trapped under the rubble was also saved by LASEMA and the Lagos State Fire Service.”

“All six men worked at the site. The injured ones are getting help right there, and we have called for the bodies of the three men who died,” Oke-Osanyitolu said.

Reports show that buildings falling down is not a new thing in Lagos and other places in the country.
